I have been tired of resisting and struggling with a particular area in my life so this morning I asked the Universe to be blunt in a kind compassionate manner. Four cards jumped out of my deck, The Eagle, The Cow, Death and Disruption. Well, I guess the Universe has a lot to say this morning. 🙂
The Eagle, I must say thank you for starting with this one. She is letting me know first and foremost that they heard my request and are working with me. By the way, this goes for you too so allow yourself a moment to breathe a sigh of relief. Trust that you aren’t going at it alone, well that is as long as you allow help in, but even then you aren’t alone.
The Cow, well she is reminding us to take care of ourselves. Nourish all aspects that are starving. In my case, I need to remember the saying, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. The key is to recognize that work is more than your job. It can also be all that busy work you create for yourself physically and mentally. It is time to put it aside and allow yourself to have some fun even if it is only for 5 minutes at a time.
Make space to enjoy life.
Also, remember for those aspects to flourish you must nurture them. Allow yourself to tend to those areas that are wilting or drying up. In my case writing and play need tended.
Oh the Death card, this is actually one to celebrate because it means you are growing! It is time to leave the old you behind. You have graduated to a new way of being and holding on to the old way will only bring struggle and frustration.
Think of it like trying to fit your foot into a show you have outgrown.
You may love the shoe and believe it is the most comfortable one around, yet, cramming your foot into it is anything but comfortable. So, it is now time to say goodby and discover your new comfortable one.
And last, Disruption. Well if you have been resisting like I have and asked the Universe to be blunt, Disruption is the perfect way to respond.
Sometimes we require a shakeup in our life to pint us to the path that we’ve been refusing to see. Here’s the cool thing, it doesn’t always have to happen TO us. We can take the lead and create the change ourselves.
Actually, I believe we do anyway, just not always from a conscious state. It doesn’t have to be a huge change, a minor one can be enough to alter where you were headed.
It really is your choice so try it out and see what happens.
