Find ways to bring joy into your day today.
Allow a smile to gently flow across your face. Feel how it instantly lights you up! Now allow that smile to flow throughout your whole body and notice how good it makes you feel even if your current circumstances may not appear joyful.
If you are having difficulty doing it, then think of something that brings you joy. Maybe it is the laughter of a baby or young child, a baby animal, or it could even be visualizing yourself sitting on a warm sunny beach. That last one is really good on those cold winter days. What ever it is, allow yourself to bask in its energy.
If you are able to do something active that brings you joy make some time for it in your day even if it is only for 5 or 10 minutes. You will be amazed at how much it will shift your day.
