Have you felt like the White Rabbit lately – always rushing about worried about being late or not getting enough done? It is very easy to fall into this pattern especially at this time of year. It is time to let the worry go and take a moment or two to still yourself. Allow yourself a moment or two to just relax and breathe. Ask yourself, is it truly necessary to work yourself up over whatever it is you are rushing about trying to accomplish? Is it vital for your existence? More than likely not. So why put all that energy into worrying about it or rushing about. Remember the little dity about the Tortoise and the Hare? Which one came out on top? The Tortoise. Why? Because he knew that rushing about only wastes his energy. And that he would have a more enjoyable experience when he allows himself time to take it all in.
